JOB SUMMARY: The DARTS part-time (up to 20 hours per week) driving position is well suited for individuals interested in making a difference in the lives of older adults. By providing transportation to a variety of destinations, DARTS drivers help seniors remain in the home of their choosing. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and a good driving record. The Early Learning Driver Training (ELDT) under FMCSA/DOT required training to obtain a passenger endorsement license is provided and paid for by DARTS! Maintain communication with dispatch. Always ensure passenger and vehicle safety. Provide passenger assistance when needed. Follow requirements for vehicle inspections, daily logs and accident reporting.
