Protective Industrial Products Product Sales Manager in United States

We are seeking an ambitious Product Sales Manager to join our dynamic North American Sales Team!

The Product Sales Manager (PSM) reports to the Director Product Sales and drives alignment between Product Management, Sales, Direct Customers, and End-Users. The PSM partners with the Company’s Sales Team members to build sales in assigned product lines. The PSM is a highly motivated, ambitious business leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is designed for a team-oriented individual who exhibits strong acumen in building and developing customer channels and partnering with the Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams to drive customer growth strategies.

This is a remote home office role. The ideal candidate will be located in the Western part of the US, with a strong background in Hand & Arm Protection.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet sales objectives for the assigned products within assigned area of responsibility.

  • Train both internal and external sales personnel and customers.

  • Collaboratively develop sales training tools with Marketing and Product Management.

  • Champion product introductions.

  • Be an expert on both PIP’s line of products and the competitive landscape.

  • Identify needs for new products and/or product enhancements and communicate them to Product Management.

  • Liaise between Sales and Product Management on forecasting, budgeting, and growth initiatives.

  • Analyze & Report on product sales within the area of responsibility.

  • Adhere to and manage administration of the Company’s business policies.

  • Manage use of tools & technologies to improve sales performance.

  • Meet on an as need basis with personnel at the key distributors and end users.

  • Lead quarterly performance reporting to members of the Company’s management team.

  • Take part in sales growth, training, and product review activities for the area of responsibility and manage the objectives in alignment with the Company’s values and goals.

Experience and requirements:

  • BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or Management

  • Ability to travel up to 70%.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and/or sales management

  • Experience in managing activities to meet objectives and goals.

  • Capable of influencing internal stakeholders with and without direct authority.

  • Good oral and written skills with ability to communicate to all organizational levels.
