Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Thief River Falls, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OVERTIME: all work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform duties on a farm like: Attach implements to tractor; Cultivate crops; Drive and operate Farm Machinery; Drive grain trucks; Harvest crops; Operate towed equipment to plant crops; Operate towed equipment to cultivate crops; Plant crops; Plow soil; Till Soil; Transport crops to elevator/storage area; Use GPS autosteer systems; Use forklift; Apply pesticides/herbicides to crops; Apply fertilizers to crops; Clean bins; Load grain trucks; Clean and Maintain grounds/facilities; Maintain/build fences; Mix materials/chemicals for planter/sprayer; Incidental equipment cleaning; Incidental repainting; Changing oil as needed; Thorough Repairs; Welding; Fabricating; Sanding/Grinding; Assist in repairing equipment if needed; driving equipment to and from fields. Equipment: Tractors, Combines, tillage equipment, sprayers, trucks, semi's, seeding tools/planters. Work performed requires exposure to extreme temperatures, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on work performance, skill or tenure. JOB REQUIREMENTS: No experience required, employer will train. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently. May be required to submit a post-hire employer-paid criminal background check. No High School Diploma / GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
