GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Under the direct supervision of the Animal Control Director, individuals performs cage cleaning, animal handling, feeding, and caring of aggressive animals housed in the kennel. Duties also include custodial tasks for the entire Animal Shelter facility. QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience handling animals is desired. Physical ability to lift heavy animals (approximately 80 pounds). Must be available for morning weekdays, and eight-hour shifts on weekends. INDIVIDUAL MUST SUCCESSFULLY PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST. EXAMINATION PROCEDURE Applications will be screened and those best qualified will be interviewed.
