Applied Materials IT Investment Analyst in Rehovot, Israel
Key Responsibilities
Analysis and understanding of organizational Financial needs to integrate strategic objectives and develop corresponding budgets and goals, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Improve a standardized financial communication protocol across different regions and organizational divisions. Engaging in ongoing collaboration with relevant functions across all regions to establish a unified financial language that facilitates clear and comprehensive communication, ensuring consistency in formats and utilization of interfacing tools.
To Conduct analysis and presenting financial insights to facilitate decision-making processes, from project inception to milestone achievements and strategy implementation.
Implementing ongoing monitoring to track financial planning progress against goal achievement and budget adherence.
Establishing periodic control measures aligned with defined objectives to inform decision-making and facilitate adaptive planning as circumstances evolve based on current and historical data.
Assume responsibility for generating all necessary financial reports and providing continual assessment of the financial status of each project individually and collectively, offering a comprehensive financial overview for both corporate stakeholders and project managers as required, along with performance metrics.
Conduct a thorough return on investment (ROI) analysis for each project individually. Evaluation the cost associated with the projects, assessing potential saving, and conducting a comprehensive financial feasibility analysis. This to help decision makers prioritize projects based on their financial viability and strategic importance, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with organizational goals.
Studying industry-specific business trends and research data
Business Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or statistics
2-4 years of experience working with or in IT organization
Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications such as SAP, Tableau, SQL
Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
Excellent understanding of finance principles
Leadership
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
Interpersonal Skills
Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
Strategic thinking
Ability to persuade senior stakeholders.
