Our optical manufacturing lab is seeking a knowledgeable technician to work with our production team and serve as liaison to our external Store associates in fulfilling customer orders.  An optical background and understanding of eyeglass prescriptions is necessary for this role.   

Shift Hours:   Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Base pay PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, great PTO plan and benefits!

General Summary:  Supports the stores regarding orders sent to both the POS and DVI system.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to portal requests, calls and emails from our stores for customer job orders

• Key in special orders

• Process edit jobs and other jobs sent to customer service for various reasons

• Explain problem orders, delays or other issues

• Track orders, research and expedite or rush jobs as necessary

• Tag jobs and utilize reports in DVI and AS/400 to expedite orders

• High School graduate or equivalent formal education

• Must be able to read and write English

• Requires an optical background and experience with knowledge of lens prescriptions and industry standards
