We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join our team.

Under the supervision of the Learning & Development Manager, the Learning & Development Specialist will assist with the professional development needs of our business and the implementation of company-wide professional development programs that enhance the effectiveness of our team. This critical role requires someone who is passionate about inspiring, educating, and engaging employees through learning and development opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the NDS organization.

· Lead by example. Be the champion of teamwork, collaboration, personal and professional development.

· Communicate with team leads and assist with identifying training requirements for departments and individuals within NDS. Communicate these needs to the L&D Manager.

· Provide training support to subject matter experts.

· Assist in the development and implementation of learning and development programs and departmental trainings.

· Support innovative learning techniques and approaches that embrace a learning culture that drives behavior change.

· Facilitate trainings to help trainers deliver content where learners will more effectively retain required job skills, to ensure safety and productivity.

· Assist with organizing and coordinating various parts of training.

· Assist with the support of new employee onboarding.

· Verify attendance and participation in training events.

· Develop, prepare, and deliver approved training materials.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· Displays a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy, understanding and responding to the human-centric needs of learners.

· Embodies a growth mindset.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong presentation skills.

· Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.

· Experience with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods, including iSpring.

· Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, is preferred.

· Two plus years of experience designing and implementing employee trainings.

· Ability to obtain and maintain ATF Processor license.

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
