All Valley Home Health PHC Provider Attendant - 78501 in Mcallen, Texas

Job Location will be in McAllen. Opportunity for a Personal Care Attendant to work with the elderly in the home. Primary function is to provide personal care and related services to the client in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Responsibilities can include:

  • Carry out assigned Activities of Daily Living and follow Individualized Service Plan.
  • Assist with safe transfers (in and out of bed/ chair/ toilet)
  • Assist with Incontinent Care/ Adult Diapers
  • Assistance with medications
  • Assist with meal preparation
  • Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry, take out trash, clean kitchen
  • Bathe clients, assist with showers and partial baths as appropriate.
  • Must be able to identify client needs or changes in condition and communicate observations to supervisor
  • Must use EVV system to clock in and out

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds while safely assisting clients in transferring and movement. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to utilize durable medical equipment in the home.
