Our client in Longmont, CO is seeking a SMT Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, focused, and willing to learn which will align successfully in the organization.

JOB TITLE: SMT Operator

JOBTYPE: Fulltime

SALARY: $18-$22 Per hour depending on experience.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidate must have experience running and programming SMT Machines-MyData preferred.

• Able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies.

• Interpret Assembly & Fabrication Prints for Surface Mount Department

• SMT Process Tech-Oversee all processes and responsible for analyzing data and reducing scrap levels.

• AOI experience would be a plus.

• Providing Engineering support for the SMT Prototype and Production Lines.

• Creating Common Setups for the SMT jobs to reduce number of setups and teardowns.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Education/Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience as an SMT Operator.

• Good SMT Operator with 2-3 years of experience in production environment.

• Pick & place machines preferred (MyData experience a plus).

• Programming SMT machines a plus.

• Working knowledge of assembling electronic products with good dexterity and able to follow work instructions

• Ability to lift 30-40ILBS.
