Robert Half Contracts Administrator in Livermore, California

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Contracts Administrator in the construction industry, located in Livermore, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting duties, from accounts receivable and billing to contract administration and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing accounts and incoming payments in accordance with financial policies and procedures

• Performing daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data

• Preparing bills, invoices, and bank deposits and reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted

• Verifying discrepancies and resolving clients' billing issues, including sending bill reminders and contacting clients

• Computing balances, recording billing payments, and compiling account statements

• Preparing invoices for the delivery of goods or services rendered

• Calculating penalties, interest, and late fees for clients who are past due on their payments and accounts

• Ensuring timely processing of contract requisitions and verifying accuracy and completion of proposal packages

• Coordinating with other divisions to clarify and ensure data is accurate, and preparing, negotiating, and issuing contract documents and amendments

• Establishing and maintaining accurate tracking records tailored to each contract, and performing contract closeout actions

• Reaching out to customers to collect overdue payments by following the company's collection process and managing overdue accounts.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Experience in Collections

Requirements

• Must possess expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required

• Strong knowledge of Collections processes is essential

• Must have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Ability to work effectively with different levels of management and staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
