Key duties:

• Together with Product Marketing and other cross-functional team members, engage customers, clinicians, and end users to understand their needs and propose improvements to the product portfolio
• Create strong value propositions for translation of product messages and clinical claims
• Continuously develop rationales and business cases for new product or improvement proposals
• Create market requirement specifications to be used as design input in new development and improvement projects for products
• Aid in the development of the product roadmap and generation plan
• Execute on upstream marketing deliverables as part of the commercialization process of product to achieve launch excellence
• Prioritize key product improvement activities (e.g. introduce new features), cost reductions, and quality improvements
• Support product marketing in annual commercialization planning activities
• Seeks out and implements new and interesting ways to share Permobil's common vision of WHY we develop products
• Monitor and analyse the latest trends in the market, competition and changes in funding regulations
• Monitor and analyse volumes, integrated margins of the assigned portfolio within the regional markets
• Monitor and analyse product quality of the assigned portfolio
• Regularly present, defend and discuss strategic initiatives surrounding the portfolio together with commercial and marketing team members from business regions to assure market and customer needs are being met
• Initiate phase out activities
• Participate in and sign off on key product gate reviews within development projects
• Education requirements:

Is able to listen with empathy to key stakeholders, and then suggest products or features that they didn't even know they needed - Able to identify and recommend only core features that bring value to the customer and Permobil business - Able to say NO to a lot of products/features/opportunities and only focus on the key value-added activities - Has a fail fast, fail early mindset and can come to quick decisions regarding their product portfolio, understanding that there is no perfect product - Fluency in English, other languages a plus (to be refined based on the region and regional requirements) - Experience required:

``` - Minimum 3 years of working experience in complex rehab technology or other medical device equivalent preferred - Minimum 3 years of working experience in product management or in a related field, preferably in the medical device/advanced rehabilitation sector and/or in a B2B environment
