The Security Officer performs all technical duties relative to maintaining a safe and secure environment in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards. Makes routine patrols and maintenance safety checks of the building and parking areas.

Hours: Per diem, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week are as needed, and not guaranteed.

Required qualifications:

• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in hospital security, other related security, or a related investigation field.
