CentiMark Corporation, headquartered at 12 Grandview Circle Canonsburg, PA 15317 phone number: (724) 514-8649, is looking to fill eight (8) Roofing Mechanics positions from 04/01/2024 to 12/01/2024. This is for full-time, peak - load temporary employment. Duties include Roofing Mechanics are responsible for removing old roofing systems and installing new ones. As Roofing Mechanics workers will cover roof of structure with shingles, slate, asphalt, wood, or related materials. These workers climb ladders, lift, and transport roofing materials, and handle the flashing of roofing penetrations. They make use of basic tools like tape measures, hammers, screwdrivers, cordless screw guns, TPO/PVC heat welders, and wrenches. Ability to use hand or power tools. Three (3) months of roofing or related experience required. Employees are subject to employer paid pre-employment, random, and post-accident drug test. Background checks maybe required if required by construction contractor. Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb ladders of 25 fee.

The pay is $26.38 per hour with overtime available at $39.57 per hour, based on hourly rate. The schedule is 40 hours per week from 7:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday to Friday, and 7:00AM - 12:00PM on Saturday (Work schedule may vary based on weather conditions). Returning workers and workers with experience may be paid higher wage rates. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 8351 Bristol Ct, Ste 107, Jessup, MD 20794, and will service clients within the Baltimore-Columbia-Towson, MD; Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV, including the counties of Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Baltimore city, Carroll County, Harford County, Howard, County, Queen Anne's County, Frederick County, Montgomery County, Prince Georges County. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is Weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. Employer does not provide housing. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period only to the extent of the total employment period. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
