SMX is looking for a SharePoint Developer to join our team! This is a hybrid role providing support to our government client at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

Our primary A365 environment consists of SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform. Our ideal candidate will be highly skilled and proficient in SharePoint Development, and Power Apps.

The SharePoint Developer will serve as the primary point of contact for all Power Platform development related issues, concerns, and needs. Will develop data systems, automations, and analytics/reporting to support process management, project execution, and process analytics and be proficient administering Power Platform and SharePoint Online.

The SharePoint Developer will develop data systems, automations, and analytics/reporting to support process management, project execution, and process analytics to include:

• Custom configuration of end-to-end solutions based on business requirements

• Advancing search capabilities within SharePoint

• Working with end users on SharePoint and Power Apps elated issues

• Power Bi reports and dashboards

• Managing enhancement requests and bug fixes for assigned systems in collaboration with the associated end-user using ServiceNow

• Managing, maintaining, and making recommendations for improvements to SharePoint and Power Platform tools

• Converting SharePoint 2019 Workflows to Power Automate and create new workflows

• Converting lists and/or InfoPath forms to Power Apps

• Identify the business requirements through discovery meetings and translate them into Power Platform Solutions

• Develop ad-hoc workflows, reports, and forms to support business needs

• Providing support, documentation, and training of end users

• BI development using Power BI or equivalent tool

Required Skills and Experience:

• Clearance Required: Secret

• Bachelor’s degree in computing science, information systems, or similar

• 3 additional years of experience required in lieu of degree

• 8 years of related work experience to include tasking such as:

• Converting lists and/or InfoPath forms to Power Apps

• Converting SharePoint 2019 Workflows to Power Automate and create new workflows

• Identifying business requirements & translating them into Power Platform Solutions

• Developing ad-hoc workflows, reports, and forms; Providing support, documentation, and training of end users

• BI development using Power BI or equivalent tool

• Development of custom site solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Forms, and Power Bi

• Experience designing and leading the system architecture process, to create, define specifications for and implement customizations for any custom code

• Proficiency in developing Power App and Power Automate solutions

• Proficiency in developing dashboards, visual reports, and KPI scorecards in Power BI

• Proficiency in development of SharePoint Online and working with data sources

• Strong ability to understand the business/process and translate customer requirements into reliable, time-efficient data systems and interfaces

• Strong working knowledge of custom Power Apps creation, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and the Power Platform, including but not limited to site development, deployment, navigation, functionality, reporting, etc.

• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI and using advanced calculations

• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Desired Qualifications:

• Project Management skills a plus

• Experience with ShareGate migration tools a plus

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately

• Strong customer service skills & focus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
