Description
Conduct regular audits and assessments of nursing practices and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with regional leadership and clinical teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Provide education and training to nursing staff on evidence-based practices, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, offering guidance and support in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and committees to address quality-related issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing care.
Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate quality metrics, trends, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on quality improvement and management.
Strong understanding of healthcare quality improvement principles, methodologies, and tools.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and quality measurement systems preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Required Education and License:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
