We are looking for an Assembly Supervisor to join our team at our Siemens - Grand Prairie, TX facility. This position will work 2nd shift.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Improve safety for all personnel that work in and around production lines

  • Drive efforts and initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality and increase productivity

  • Adhere to production schedule by establishing priorities, assigning personnel to work areas, supervising progress, making personnel/priority adjustments, resolving line constraint problems, and reporting results through shift production summaries

  • Supervise, train, and mentor the team; set goals, supervise performance, conduct employee review meetings, and schedule formal training.

  • Work closely with purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence

  • Maintain working relationship with local union by following the collective bargaining agreement

  • Liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering

  • Drive continuous improvement projects; support performance measurement and documentation of manufacturing processes, support digitalization efforts to implement tools such as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Performance/Status Dashboards, and other connected tools

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing or related field in a supervisor role.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Mechanical proficiency with experience using hand tools and proficient with Microsoft office.

  • Project Management Experience.

  • Able to interpret or learn to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

  • Lean Manufacturing techniques

  • The pay range for this position is $53,410 -$91,560. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
