West Sound Workforce is assisting Metagenics, a Gig Harbor based manufacturer of high-quality, science-based vitamins and supplements in seeking a Packaging Operator to join their distribution team. Reporting to the Packaging Lead and Shift Supervisor, this position will be responsible for preparing, operating, and cleaning packaging equipment. • Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm

What you will do as a Packaging Operator:

• Operate packaging equipment to label containers or products
• Inspect product and containers through packaging process
• Adjust equipment controls using hand eye coordination and dexterity with various control switches, dials, buttons
• Clean equipment and accessories

What we are looking for:

• Previous machine operation experience
• Organization and time management skills
• Basic manufacturing knowledge
• The ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Basic clerical skills
