Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Software Developer in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is based on site and is not a hybrid or remote position. As a Software Developer, you will be developing and implementing software to support data acquisition and control systems, collaborating with engineers and technicians, and providing support for various test labs. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement LabVIEW software to support data acquisition and control systems.

• Collaborate with instrumentation engineers and technicians to design, fabricate, maintain, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems.

• Provide support primarily for the Drive Systems Test Lab, with potential support for the structural test lab.

• Utilize your skills in MATLAB and LabView for high-speed data acquisition and control.

• Implement object-oriented programming and handle messages using TCP/IP protocols.

• Leverage your experience in Microsoft C# programming in the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development studio environment.

• Utilize your experience with Microsoft SQL server for database development and administration.

• Exhibit your strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) for effective reporting and documentation.

• Contribute to a team environment, working well with others to achieve project goals. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Ability to work with Computer Sciences and .NET Framework

• Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Workstation Support

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration would be advantageous

• Knowledge of Design principles and techniques

• Familiarity with Financial Notes and Expense Reporting

• Experience in Project Status reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio

• Experience with Real-Time systems and IP Protocol

• Knowledge of MATLAB and TCP

• Strong skills in Object Oriented Programming

• Excellent Written Communication skills are essential

• Ability to Travel as required by the job role

• Degree in Computer Sciences or related field is preferred
