Job Description

Job Duties:

Lead the activities of engineers and specialists to ensure correct configuration of the production in accordance with contractual, customer, program and regulatory requirements in most efficient way for manufacturability of the product. Ensure implementation of continuous improvement activities. Define procedures for communication and flow of information in the engineering department. Responsible for systems containing technical data such as product and customer records, specifications, drawings, configurations, tools, calibration, standards, work instructions etc. Develop and guide project activities necessary to modify or incorporate Product Definition Management (PDM) systems.

Job Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the aerospace industry. Stated experience must include: working with Wire Harness Installation and Wire Harness Assembly aircraft products; implementing production systems to provide correct production flows, capacity plans, tooling and production scheduling; implementing continuous improvement plans; and implanting lean manufacturing principles.
