Responsibilities

* Must be able to travel approximately 75% of the time. Candidates strongly preferred to live in NJ/NY/CT area, as this is where the travel will be *

The Director, Site Engagement will be the primary Revenue Cycle leader for an assigned group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: metric accountability, revenue cycle training and support, and integration activities. Director will manage group needs with respect to all communications related to AR metrics, Business Office Manager (BOM)/Business Office Coordinator(BOC) training/support, and Revenue Cycle Operations (RCO) Compliance. Will organize training needs for both newly integrated sites as well as new BOM/BOCs. Will partner with all support lanes to ensure that Revenue Cycle needs are met on behalf of sites. Must be able to work independently, without direct daily supervision, keeping leadership and RCO team working in concert with each other.

Job Requirements:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must understand and articulate the Revenue Cycle process from start to finish

  • Communication skills adaptable to varying audience of Senior VP to Business Office teammate as well as partner support lanes

  • Ability to report out findings on all site visits and strategic action plans

  • Analysis of top 5 key RCO performance indicators, identify and provide resolution-oriented action plan with follow up expectations

  • Manage revenue cycle needs within assigned group utilizing current team, CBO partners as well as other support lanes

  • Training skills both in large group setting as well as 1:1

  • Prep and present revenue cycle metrics, action plans and overall performance at group as well as local level

  • Understand revenue recognition, managed care contracts and basic accounting principles

    Financial Skill:

  • Understands the impact of inaccurate revenue recognition

  • Proficient in ASC patient accounting systems such as HST, SIS, Vision, Amkai and Advantx

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 10 years RCO specific experience required

  • Basic accounting procedures with some accounting background in a medically related environment

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in an upper Management role

  • Extensive experience in medical service Accounts Receivable

  • Medical terminology knowledge required

  • Must have computer experience working with Excel, Word, Medical Billing Software and Applications

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Efficient project management skills
