Job Description:
Transform technology into opportunity as a Configuration Analyst Associate with GDIT. Here, people are our differentiator. Our work depends on you to provide technical support services for the various C4S capabilities onboard Military Sealift Command (MSC) ships. This position is located in Chesapeake, VA.
HOW OUR CONFIGURATION ANALYST ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Conduct inventories of all GFE onboard MSC ships and some ashore facilities
Provide updates to central asset tracking database
Provide updates via feedback reports to the Corrective Maintenance Logistics System (CMLS)
Identify, document and report discrepancies
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):
Security Clearance Level: Active Secret
Required Experience: 1 - 2 years
Education: High School diploma
Required Skills: Experience using inventory management databases for GFE tracking. Proficiency with basic computer programs, specifically MS Word and Excel. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to work in shipyard environments
Travel: 50 - 70%

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.97 - $27.60. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
