Applied Industrial Technologies Returns Coordinator in Chanhassen, Minnesota

Job Description: Power Systems AHS, Inc, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies, is seeking an Associate in our production and distribution area in our Chanhassen, MN location to manage, document and process the flow of all product return requests and physical returns. The successful applicant will be responsible to effectively interact with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to ensure customer returns are processed accurately in our ERP system and disposition communicated. Responsibilities: Coordinate physical returns upon arrival and analyze product for distribution to the appropriate workstation. This will include coordinating vendor returns for evaluation and disposition on both customers returned product and non-conforming internal product. Discusses defective or unacceptable products or services with inspection/quality control personnel, users, suppliers, and other to determine source of trouble and take corrective action(s). Perform inventory verification and completes product disposition as applicable. Ensure customer return requests are promptly addressed. Issue and coordinate Service Orders and RMA's (Return Material Authorization) in our ERP system and communicate identification to sales associates. Document all pertinent information (Evaluations, Findings, etc.) pertaining to product returns. Assist the Quality Manager with training events pertaining to product returns with other employees. Follows all quality process and procedures as established by Power Systems. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Quality Manager, and operates within the intended framework of Power Systems company mission, values, and vision statements. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as with a team. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Preferred: 2+ year's quality position experience.
