Ziegler CAT is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who is responsible for interpretation and execution of data visualization through the use of Power BI for different divisions of the Ziegler business. The role focuses on working with different divisions to create the most effective and efficient reporting and analytics to help Ziegler succeed in maximizing our customer's uptime. Additional duties will include exploration of additional data sources from outside of Ziegler to enable continued market research and exploration. Responsibilities: Data visualization using Power BI Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company's mission Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources Offer insight into the best way to visualize information within Power BI to be the most impactful Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations Design new data collection models to better collect information Coordinate with IT department to implement new models Perform data profiling to identify anomalies Consulting with management and relevant stakeholders to define goals Coach others in the use of Power BI and business intelligence best practices Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with Power Query M language, and Power BI. Ability to collect and compile relevant data. Extremely organized with great attention to detail. Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically. Strong business analysis skills. Works well independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
