Successful and Professional Autobody Shop in the North Metro is seeking an experience Autobody Technician to join the team.

Description:

This is an auto body tech position: This person will be the right hand man to the owner who is the main painter and owner/operator.

They will be responsible for: dismantling the vehicles and components as they comes into shop, diagnosing the issues, prepping for sanding/buffing, taping, masking, sanding, buffing, gopher work including supply runs, supply filling, and other duties as assigned or needed. If they have automotive painting experience he would likely train him into being a backup or assistant painter as well as take that on more full time as well. Will work with wide range of hand, power and impact tools as well as buffers, sanders etc. Will also work with customers as they come into shop looking for appointments as well as current customers in regards to questions or updates on their vehicle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

• 2+ years automotive technician experience,

• 2+ years experience masking, taping, buffing and sanding of vehicles and parts

• Attention to detail and high mechanical aptitude

Nice to Haves:

• 5 + years autobody technician experience

• Automotive painting experience

• Experience or desire working in a small shop wearing many hats

Pay: Negotiable range from $25-45/hr DOE
