Certified Nursing Assistant - Full time - Night shift - 72 hours bi-weekly

Works under the supervision of an RN.  Assists the RN in providing basic patient care according to unit policies and procedures.  May assist with procedures, perform catheterizations, transport patients, assist with body transfers in the morgue, surgery preps, cast and traction applications, and routine admitting procedures such as taking vital signs.  Works primarily on the Med-Surg unit but may assist as needed in all nursing areas.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have attended a certified nurse aide training program and have passed the State Certification Exam, or be eligible to take and pass the exam within 3 months of hire. 
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. 
• BLS certification is required.
