Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Angus, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 11/22/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/13/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. They will haul materials, supplies or crops to designated locations. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after given instructions and must be a team player when needed. Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only. NO TEXTING. No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing, or grounds. No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have six (6) months of tractor-driving skills with installed with GPS and towed implements. Able to operate/understand GPS with computerized monitors. Must have or be able to obtain Driver's License (Class D) within 30 days of hire. Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
