Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for a Senior Civil Project Manager to join our Algona team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a great team of professionals. Bolton & Menk is regional, consulting engineer firm with over 70 years of experience serving the Upper Midwest.

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead the planning, development, and implementation of projects ensuring client satisfaction and budget management. You will be the client services manager and provide on-going communication related to projects & needs. In this position you will also lead your project teams and provide coaching and mentoring. You will learn the resources available in our organization and will maximize utilization of resources in a collaborative manner. This role will have a focus on our municipal market.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel.

• Serves as primary client contact and is responsible for problem resolutions related to projects.

• Identifies the project scope and participates in the contract negotiation.

• Develops and monitors project budgets and implements corrective action if appropriate.

• Supervise and reviews final design, plans, and specifications and insures conformance with corporate quality standards.

• Manages construction phase engineering services and provides technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members.

• Performs business development activities (i.e. RFP’s, presentations, preparation of proposals).

• Plans and organizes project assignments and is responsible for the work of other engineers and technicians.

• Approves and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university

• 10+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure.

• Experience with client relationship management and business development.

• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
